Rees Calling
There’s a long golden poplar lined straight on the way to Paradise. At the end of that on the right is yet another epic scene. Bucolic farmland stretches away invitingly into the Rees valley. Blink and you miss it. Apparently, the farmer has had to repair that fence quite a few times as people take that last bend a little too fast on the dirt road. It may also be because they get a glimpse of this view through the trees and lose their minds momentarily. As I stood there and painted it, there must’ve been free beer up the road because every man and his dog was throwing up a cloud of dust over me and my Painting as they hurtled down the road to Paradise.
