Glenorchy Gold
The last light of the day catching the last leaves of Autumn at the end of the Bucklerburn, looking towards Blanket Bay. I try every year to get down here around this time when, if you're lucky, you can get the last of the autumn colour and the first snow all at the same time. It doesn't last for long as it only takes few good stormy days to strip the trees of their beautiful golden cloaks. But then new, richer reds and oranges come out in the finery of their branches, and that warmth is such a beautiful contrast against the cools of the winter snows. Every season is a wonder in Glenorchy.
